Hello friends! What are your thoughts on the Bible? Does the idea of a GLOBAL flood sound a little fantastical? What if I told you that there is HUGE evidence right beneath your feet in the form of sedimentary rock? Let me explain...

Let’s talk about that literal global flood for a minute, because there are a few key points that are often ignored in the mainstream conversations. One of the simplest and observable pieces of evidence for a young Earth is the makeup of the geologic column. It’s entirely made of sedimentary rock.

Now just stop and think about that for a second. If you’ve ever taken a basic science class, you know that sedimentary rock forms from leftover sediments, typically from water or a flood. So if sedimentary rocks make up the whole geologic column, that means the entire column, with all its fossils and layers, was laid down by water.

And there’s more—another striking observation is the lack of erosion between the layers. If those layers were deposited slowly over millions of years, you’d expect to see evidence of wind and rain cutting into them, soil forming between them, or plant roots breaking through. But instead? The layers are clean and flat, stacked like pancakes.
