“God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.” Acts 10:34–35

Hey friends đź‘‹

We’re continuing through Acts, so open your Bible and study along with me 📖

In Acts 10–11, God makes something unmistakably clear:

The good news of Jesus is for everyone!

Acts 10:1–23

Cornelius was a Roman centurion who feared God, prayed regularly, and gave generously.

In a vision, God told him to send for Peter. (vv. 3–6)

Meanwhile, Peter received a vision of animals considered unclean under Jewish law.

God told him, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” (v. 15)

Peter didn’t fully understand yet, but God was preparing his heart.

Acts 10:24–48

When Peter entered Cornelius’s home, he realized what God was showing him:

“God does not show favoritism.” (v. 34) 🙌

Peter proclaimed Jesus—His ministry, death, and resurrection—and declared,

“Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (v. 43) ✝️

While Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit came upon the Gentiles. 🕊️

God had made His answer clear.

Acts 11

When Peter returned to Jerusalem, some believers criticized him for entering a Gentile home.

Peter explained everything God had done.

When they heard, they praised God:

“So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.” (v. 18) 🙌

This moment changes the direction of Acts.

The gospel was never meant for one nation, culture, or group.

Jesus came to save people from every nation 🌎

And when questions about Gentile believers arise later, the church will remember what God revealed here.

The gospel is for everyone ✝️
