Do you believe men and monkeys share a common ancient ancestor? Despite the grand scale of their claims, evolutionists have presented only a few fossil finds to support their goofy theory. And did you know that the most famous example was altered to look more human? Its name is Lucy and its bone fragments were discovered in 1974 by paleoanthropologist Donald Johansen in Ethiopia, Africa just days before the funding for his expedition ran out. Lucy was named after the popular Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” which played daily during the dig. What evolutionists don’t tell you is that Lucy was made up of multiple fragmentary specs discovered ten miles apart from one another. Most disturbing, however, is that the pelvic bone was reconstructed so that it didn’t look so ape-like, suggesting that Lucy walked upright like a human. Johansen literally took a grinder to a cast of the bone. No Joke! In addition, human hands and feet were added to the skeleton since no fragments were found for those parts. Now that you know the whole story evolution doesn’t sound like such a solid case, does it? And the practices of the people writing our textbooks seem less like a scientific discipline and more like the imagination of science fiction by pushing the boundaries of what people will believe despite evidence to the contrary. In reality, Lucy’s skull closely resembles that of a Bonobo monkey (pictured in today’s graphic) and it walked on all fours like an ape. Likewise, instead of showcasing a long line of common ancestors, the fossil record only produces ape fossils like Lucy and human fossils like Neanderthals and Homo Erectus. It’s that simple. Unfortunately, Lucy isn’t the only misguided attempt at proving this theory. Nebraska Man’s tooth (yes, that’s all they found) was later discovered to belong to a pig. Another example called Piltdown Man was later discredited and discovered to be the product of an elaborate hoax despite being used in textbooks and during the famous Scopes Monkey Trial which opened the door for evolutionary teachings in public schools. Contrary to the outlandish claims of ungodly people, the Bible teaches that you were made on purpose in God’s image. It doesn’t matter what culture says. The truth is that God loves you, Jesus died for you and the Holy Spirit can make you new through faith in those promises. It’s true! Believe in Jesus today so that you can receive God’s bright future for you and your family tomorrow!
