Find Your FLEX

When is the last time you flexed in the mirror during or after a workout? You get a refreshing feeling when you know your muscles are being worked because you know that it's going to be worth it when you look and feel better physically. You see- you have more muscles than you think! You have been given spiritual muscles that can help you grow in your faith with Christ. In the same way that your physical muscles need worked, your spiritual ones do too. Working on your spiritual muscles can be the difference in how you feel as a whole. It can change a negative mindset into a positive one. There is a real connection and it's why we as people struggle with pulling ourselves out of negative feelings. We can all become vulnerable to the chaos around us and it can break us down. You have to FLEX a little bit and focus on the mission of Christ. When we begin to focus on ourselves and what we think is a positive and good way of thinking, our life can become the opposite because you're not in control of your own life. What you think you want and how you want to live will not bring you the happiness you long for. Only God can give you what you truly need and it can only begin when you shift your mind to his mission for you. We have to FLEX our spiritual muscles and look to get stronger in every way with God. It's not an easy thing to do- it can tire you out or bring on thoughts that make you feel like you can't prevail. But you can because Jesus already went through it for you! Take some time to get active and start the growth process. As you gain strength, the positive changes will only help you endure the road that lies ahead. Be blessed and love ya in Jesus!
