āPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you.ā John 14:27
Happy Lord's Day friends! š ⦠I hope this email finds you basking in the true peace that only Jesus offers. Today, I want to share insights from my latest video linked below š with Apologist David Suarez (@BeTheIron on YouTube and Instagram) check it out for a deep dive into why Christianity shines as the religion of peace! š„
From a Biblical perspective, Christianity embodies genuine peace through Christ's sacrifice. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44) and spread the GOSPEL through compassion and martyrdom. Really, think on that ⦠the Great Commission, for example, calls us to disciple nations with love, not force. In contrast, Islam's history reveals a pattern of VIOLENCE. Despite the post-9/11 narrative pushing Islam as āpeaceful,ā the Quran itself commands jihad ā fighting disbelievers until they submit or pay the jizya tax in humiliation (Surah 9:29). š²
Muhammad personally led over eighty (yes, 8-0 š±) military expeditions, from the Battle of Badr to the conquest of Mecca, emphasizing conquest, submission and oppression. Look at 9/11: Planes slammed into buildings in the name of jihad, yet leaders labeled Islam a āreligion of peace.ā This ridiculous idea ignores verses like Surah 9:123, urging harshness against unbelievers. Additionally, top terrorist groups today are ISLAMIC, driven by teachings that glorify KILLING for paradise. As Christians rooted in Scripture, we must challenge this deceptive narrative because ātaqiyyaā allows lying to advance Islam. You heard that right!
In truth, Christianityās peace is selfless; Jesus died for us, securing eternal assurance (John 10:28). Islam, on the other hand, inverts this, promising paradise through violence. But what do you think? Write your thoughts in the comments š
How can we lovingly engage Muslim neighbors with the Gospel's truth?
And in a world echoing Islamic conquest tactics, like cultural takeovers in the West, how should Christians stand firm in biblical peace? š¤ āļø
