💪 They Were BOLD 😱

“When they saw the COURAGE of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

Friends, I’ve got a something LIFE-CHANGING 🤯 to tell you today and I’m not sure you’ve heard this before …. It’s about the STYLE of the early church. Look, I’m not talking FASHION here, I’m talking FAITH!

By now I’m sure you’ve heard about my billboards in our communities and maybe you’ve even SEEN them for yourself. You know, the ones that declare “Be BOLD for Jesus!” 🙏

Well I want to take a minute RIGHT NOW to tell you the WHY behind my WHAT and it has everything to do with THEIR style …..

You know what I’m talking about, the style of Peter, Paul and the early church. What ONE thing characterized their ministry perhaps more than any other?? It was BOLDNESS!

And in our opening Scripture we see BOLD written everywhere. Peter was BOLD when he healed the lame beggar in the Temple gates. He and his companions were BOLD when they began to teach the name of JESUS to the people afterward. And certainly they were BOLD when they declared salvation in NO OTHER NAME to the chief priests IGNORING their threats! Their BOLDNESS commanded the respect of their enemies as those who had been with Jesus!

So here’s my question for you today: can you be BOLD for Jesus in your community?? 🤔 We live in a world that so desperately needs you to LIVE OUT your faith! And you can do just THAT with God’s power working in you!
