What is the Islamic Dilemma? 🧐

ree

“We also have the prophetic message [the Bible] as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it … no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Peter 1:19-21

Friends, I know I’m preaching to the choir here …

As Christians, we stand FIRMLY on the assurance that the Scriptures—both the Old and New Testaments—are perfectly preserved and true. This foundational truth, and its implications on Islam, is the EXACT topic of my new video with seasoned Christian Apologist Islamic expert David Suarez (@BeThe Iron) linked below 👇

This leads us to the heart of the ISLAMIC DILEMMA. The paradox lies in the Quran’s claim to be the uncorrupted speech of Allah while simultaneously upholding the validity of the Torah (Taurat) and the Gospel (Injeel) — and even commanding Muslims to follow them 😳 … Yet, Islamic teachings contradict the core doctrines of the Bible. For instance, the Quran explicitly denies the historical and well-attested crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It also perverts key biblical narratives, like claiming Ishmael, not Isaac, was to be sacrificed.

Friends, this dilemma is INESCAPABLE for the Muslim: If the Torah and Gospel are true and uncorrupted, as the Quran states, then Islam is false because it contradicts the Bible. Conversely, if a Muslim claims the Bible has been corrupted to try and resolve the contradiction, they must also conclude Islam is false, because the Quran asserts that the speech of Allah (which includes the earlier Scriptures) cannot be lost or corrupted. This logical TRAP reveals the clear and unbiased superiority of the Christian faith ❤️ which finds its fulfillment and consistency throughout the flawless Word of God.

But what do you think? What biblical truth do you find most compelling to share with a Muslim friend? But what do you think? How can the Christian church better equip itself to lovingly and logically address the claims of Islam?
