Get Your INTO On

Have you ever had a moment when you were younger where your parents or guardians told you not to get into the cookies before dinner? How about being advised not to get into trouble because there will be consequences? Whatever it was, I'm sure there were ramifications for ignoring the wisdom of those speaking to you. Now imagine if God told you to get INTO a situation that may make you uncomfortable but bring glory to his name and bring you happiness. Well, that's exactly what happened when Jesus appeared to the eleven after he was resurrected from the dead. We see Christ say in Mark 16:15 "go INTO the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Wow!! Let that marinate for a minute. Jesus is telling his people to go INTO the world to preach his name. That no matter how much stress you encounter, pain you suffer, or despair you feel go into the world for me. You may not realize it, but there are very real implications for ignoring the calling of Jesus. There's a reason you're being called to fulfill the great commission and there isn't a moment more to waste. You will almost certainly experience hardship when you say yes to God, but he knows what you can handle and he will always bring you through it. It's a guarantee that cannot ever be changed. Sharing your faith doesn't have to be difficult because God does all the work. Remaining in your comfortable "nest" will neutralize your opportunity to share the gospel. Jesus is calling you to go and he will navigate your every step. Today is the day to get uncomfortable. Now is the time to answer the call and enter the unknown because what's out there is a true peace that you won't find anywhere else- no matter how hard you search. Seize the moment and step out in faith and you will forever be changed by what God shows you in your life! God bless and love ya in Jesus!
