“He has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man [Jesus] he has appointed.” Acts 17:31
Happy Thanksgiving week friends and UGH 😩 do I wish I had a happier message for you this weekend in which we celebrate America’s PROUD history of thankfulness. Instead, I just could not stop thinking this week about the spiritual condition of my state and others that have decided to make abortion, yes ABORTION, a “right.”
In that light, I think it only appropriate to talk about the many CHRISTIANS who voted “yes” to these insane and barbaric laws. So here it is … did you know that God WILL judge you?? I’m not sure a lot of people think about this fact. Yet you can and should think about this even when you go into your voting booth year after year or choose to do NOTHING about the moral condition of your community. In our culture, citizens have rights and power. A vote for abortion means that YOU bear responsibility for the consequences in culture and human life. A vote to legalize marijuana or push gender ideology means that YOU bear responsibility when others can’t raise their kids in a safe environment. Yes, it’s on YOU.
I know this isn’t an easy message to receive, but God’s judgment is VERY real. In fact, even Christians will be judged for how they live their lives. Look it up in 1 Corinthians 3:12-15. The passage is actually talking about BELIEVERS who will be saved yet suffer great loss on the day of judgement.
If you’re still not convinced on the issue of abortion, watch my new video linked below and PLEASE search your heart. I don’t bring this to your attention to make you feel bad but to better prepare you for that day AND to impart to you true life and peace to you so that you can truly be thankful on this and every holiday!
How often do you think about the truth that you will be judged?
Does your future day of judgement bring to light any personal sins or shortcomings?
How will you respond?
