As we kick off the holiday season, let's take a moment to reflect on the importance of giving thanks for what we've been given. Though this has been a trying year, I pray that you all have had at least one opportunity to reflect on and have appreciation for what you have in your life, even if it was something small. One thing we can always look at and be thankful for is the gospel; words & stories to fall back on through any situation life may throw at us. Through the grace of God we were freely given a way to be in unison with our creator and author of our lives. It was the sacrifice of the cross that we can go directly to God and say thank you! The barrier has been broken and access is now unlimited. What a great gift it is! Jesus wants to extend his love to anyone who asks. In expressing that you want to give your life to God, you're setting yourself up for success. There is a guarantee that you will be victorious over everything you seek to conquer. I don't know if there is a greater gift that can be given than everlasting peace and comfort with the one who loves you the most! Take a second to give thanks to a friend or loved one.
