Before we dive into things, I'd like to say Happy Mother's Day! Mom's play one of the most important roles in our lives and I'm not sure where we would be without them. With that being said, I'd like to talk a little bit about our culture and where we fit in as followers of Christ. We've become SOFT as a whole. It seems like nowadays, no one has the ability to peacefully disagree on certain things. The division that is put on display has caused us to become weak. It's become normal to embrace everything to avoid conflict. I'm here to tell you that you have been called to stand firm and let nothing move you. You're spiritually built to resist the ways of culture that contradict the way Jesus is calling you to live. We have to be the opposite of SOFT and show our capability to live with strong character. When we encounter someone with a different belief than us, there's no need to feel like it's a personal attack. We'll never fully agree on everything and that's okay! I encourage you to discover ways to cultivate positive relationships despite the different beliefs someone may have. I urge you to stop being SOFT and become strong in Christ knowing that he will handle everything in his timing. Be blessed and love ya in Jesus!
