Happy Saturday friends! I hope you’re ready to get technical today because I’m about to BLOW YOUR MIND with FACTS that are typically used to support old earth “scientific” models. Here’s the great thing: you don’t need to think too hard to overturn the insanity of evolution! If you’d like to study things further just watch this week’s two part episode called “The Dating Game” on pastoraj.com (social: @pastorajplatt). As I’ve covered previously, old earth theories primarily use an ASSUMPTION that the earth is old. It’s called uniformity. Two of the most popular methods they use to “prove” millions of years are carbon 14 and potassium-argon dating. The first of which (carbon 14) has a MAXIMUM shelf life of 100,000 years. This is the “test” they perform on once-living things. In theory, there would be ZERO carbon 14 atoms left in a once-living creature after that time. So, for starters, carbon 14 CAN’T reveal millions of years by itself. And that’s where the potassium-argon test comes in. Again, in theory, once-molten rock has no argon in it when it solidifies. And since the accumulation rate of argon seems regular, “scientists” simply count the number of particles in a given volcanic rock to determine how long it’s been since it cooled off. Simple enough right? Now here’s where it all falls apart. This test OFTEN gets the dates of known examples WRONG. Seriously. If you don’t believe me just Google the problems with this method. One of the more famous examples is a piece of Mount Saint Helens (erupted in 1980) which dated to hundreds of thousands of years old. Again, look it up. There are several examples of this. What’s the problem? Either experiments performed in a lab don’t adequately represent conditions we find in nature OR the samples we test from the earth’s core come with inherited particles. Either way something is way off! But here’s the FUNNY part: dinosaur bones are NOT found in once-molten (igneous) rock. So now we’re back to square one. Dates are ASSIGNED to the flood-produced rock layers and the animals they contain based on “conventional thinking.” While you’re letting that sink get ready to have your mind completely blown. All of the animals contained in those layers (yes, even dinosaurs) contain traces of carbon 14. You heard me right. In fact, carbon 14 is still present in fossil fuels and even diamonds. Heck, dinosaur bones still have SOFT TISSUE. Now back to my original point. How on earth can these things be millions of years old?! On earth, they can’t be. In the insane mind of an evolutionist, however, anything is possible. In that light, aren’t you glad God gave us the signs of the stars to mark days and years and that these years are an accurate portrayal of reality as the Bible plainly defines it? Certainly, real science won’t contradict what we KNOW about the earth’s age. But that’s the key. Extreme age isn’t known. It’s assumed. And that’s exactly why we can trust what God’s Word says about where and WHEN it all came to be. It came to be just a few thousand years ago ex nihilo (out of nothing) in six literal days. UNBIASED science confirms it’s all very young. And since God can be right about these things don’t be afraid to trust him with your future right now!
