Did God Create in Six Literal Days?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth … And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light … God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day. Genesis 1:1-5

Happy Saturday friends! I trust you’re doing as well as I am! Although I would be doing A LOT better if so many people in our culture didn’t buy into the LIE of evolution! I know I might sound a little crazy myself but it’s because of this passion that I decided to cover this topic in my new series “Evolution Insanity: Darwin’s Monkey Magic” where I’ve kicked things off with a new video (linked below) answering the question, “Did God create in six literal days?” Since evolution’s adoption as our culture’s favorite pet monkey, more and more Christians have come to interpret Genesis 1 as non-literal. In other words, they’ll say, “The Biblical account of God’s creation is a cute poem. God created the world, but he did it over millions (and billions) of years through the process of evolution.” HOWEVER, the Bible is easy to understand AND the science simply does not back up these claims. What’s at stake? I’d say, if they’re right, we really can’t trust the Bible which CLEARLY explains that death came AFTER man sinned in the garden (not before). God created the world “good” and he did it in six days. That’s why we’ve patterned the work week after what he did. So did God create in six literal days? Check out my new video for solid answers to this important question and STAY TUNED for more to come on this topic!

Application:

What are your thoughts on evolution? Why do you think so many people believe in it?

What impact can our beliefs about origins have on the way we look at the trustworthiness of the Bible?

After watching the video, were you more or less convinced that God created everything in six literal days? Why?
