Mary BELIEVED God 😎

ree

"And Mary said, 'Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.' And the angel departed from her." Luke 1:38

Merry Christmas friends! 🎄 This is part four of my series "Christmas Collisions," where we're diving into those epic moments when heaven collides with earth during the Nativity story. Today, let's zoom in on Mary's radical faith – she straight-up BELIEVED God! 😎

Picture this … Mary, a young virgin pledged to marry Joseph, gets visited by an angel announcing she'll have a baby... the Messiah! Biologically? Impossible – no human dad involved. 🙅‍♀️ Socially? A total nightmare! In her culture, an unmarried pregnant girl could face shame, rejection, or worse. Joseph might bail, her family could disown her, and the community? Whispers and judgment everywhere. 😟

Yet, Mary didn't freak out or demand proof. She humbly said, "Let it be to me according to your word." That's trust on steroids! 💪 From a biblical perspective, this shows true faith means surrendering to God's impossible promises, even when it flips your life upside down. Mary's belief paved the way for Jesus' birth, proving God uses ordinary folks like us for extraordinary plans 🙌

But what do you think? 🤔

When has God asked you to believe something that seemed impossible or risky – how did you respond?

What's one area in your life where you need to say "yes" to God today, no matter the cost? Be sure to write your thoughts in the comments👇
