The Greatest Freedom 👑✝️

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

— Galatians 5:1 (NIV)

Hey friends đź‘‹

This week we’re taking a short break from our Acts study as we celebrate Independence Day weekend, where our nation just experienced its 250th anniversary! 🇺🇸

As Americans, we’re blessed with many freedoms.

But there’s one freedom that stands above them all!

The freedom we have in Christ ✝️

America has been blessed with the freedom to worship, open God’s Word and boldly proclaim the gospel. 📖🇺🇸

That’s a gift.

And one we should never take for granted.

Throughout our nation’s history, many leaders publicly acknowledged their dependence on God.

While the Founding Fathers held different personal beliefs, many affirmed that our rights come from our Creator—not from government.

That conviction helped shape our nation. 🇺🇸

Generations later, faithful believers continued carrying the gospel forward.

Men like Billy Graham preached Christ to millions. 📖🔥

Countless pastors, missionaries, and ordinary Christians faithfully lived for Jesus, often without recognition.

But our greatest freedom isn’t found in America’s history.

It’s found at the cross. ✝️

Paul reminds us: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” 🕊️

Jesus didn’t set us free to live however we please.

He set us free from sin.

From guilt.

From condemnation.

Because of Him we have forgiveness. ❤️

Because of Him we have hope.

Because of Him we have eternal life.

As we celebrate our freedom, let’s also celebrate the Savior who gave us the greatest freedom of all. 👑

May we never waste the liberty we’ve been given to boldly live for Christ and share His gospel while we still have the opportunity. ✝️🇺🇸
