There Is Power in the Name of Jesus šŸ’Ŗ

ā€œThen Peter said, ā€˜Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.ā€™ā€ Acts 3:6 (NIV)

Hey friends šŸ‘‹

We’re continuing through Acts —s o open your Bible and study along with me šŸ“–

In Acts 3, Peter and John are heading to the temple at the time of prayer šŸ™

And sitting near the temple gate was a man who had been lame from birth āš ļø

Verse 2 says he was ā€œbeing carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg ā€¦ā€

Every day.

The same condition.

The same dependence.

The same hopeless routine.

Verses 3–5: When the man asks Peter and John for money šŸ’° Peter says:

ā€œLook at us.ā€ šŸ‘€

The man expected coins.

But God was about to give him something greater.

Verse 6: ā€œSilver or gold I do not have ā€¦ā€

Peter wasn’t offering temporary relief.

He continues: ā€œbut what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.ā€ šŸ‘£

The power was not in Peter.

It was in the name of Jesus!

Then in verse 7: ā€œHe took him by the right hand and helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.ā€ šŸ’Ŗ

Strength entered what had always been weak.

In Verse 8 ā€œHe jumped to his feet and began to walk.ā€

And then: ā€œHe went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.ā€ šŸ™Œ

The miracle didn’t just restore his body.

It restored his worship!

Verses 9–10: The people recognized him 😮

They knew this was the same man who used to sit begging at the gate called Beautiful.

And now?

He was standingšŸ§ā€ā™‚ļø

WalkingšŸš¶ā€ā™‚ļø

Praising God!

ā€œThey were filled with wonder and amazement ā€¦ā€ ✨

Acts 3 reveals the heart of Jesus toward the weak, broken, and overlooked ā¤ļø

This man had spent his life being carried by others.

But Jesus saw him.

And through the power of His name, everything changed šŸ”„

The name of Jesus still brings healing!

Still brings restoration!

Still brings hope!šŸ•Šļø
