Use an ICEBREAKER to Share Your Faith 😎

“Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: ‘People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious … I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.’” Acts 17:22-23

Hello friends! Today I’d like you to answer ONE question for me: Do you struggle to SHARE your faith with others? Most people do. But today I’m going to give you a great tip on the usefulness of ICEBREAKERS and I talk all about it in my new video “Best Video Intros of 2022: Are Icebreakers Useful in Evangelism?” at pastoraj.com. An icebreaker is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an intro. In the Scripture we began with today, Paul used a cleaver intro in his conversation with the pagans of Athens. He discussed the idols that surrounded them. That’s it. Was it a compliment. No. It was just a way in to deeper conversation. He commented on the fact that they were religious and then he used that as an opportunity to tell them about TRUE religion. What can you use in your conversations today to help others experience, demonstrate and share god’s great Gospel? Opportunities are all around you. Ask someone what their last church experience was like. Tell them your story of salvation or your testimony. Explain that you have something that will add to their life and the life of their family. Jesus is AWESOME! The truth of a relationship with him is BEYOND our hopes and dreams. That’s why we need to share it and a thoughtful intro can go a long way!
