Since the mid 1800's, a lot of people believe men and monkeys share a common ancestor ... no comments ladies! But you may not know that Evolutionists assume an old earth before they even engage the facts. Doesn't sound very scientific, does it? It's not. Evolution and other theories that attribute an old age to the universe are actually a faith system just like the world's religions whom they often criticize for not being scientific. The principle is called "uniformity" and it assumes that the same processes we see at work today have always been at work at the same rate we currently observe them.
