The ❤️ Of The Gospel: Forgiveness

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.”Ephesians 1:7

Happy New Year, friends 🎉✨

We’re starting the year by going straight to the core of Christianity — forgiveness 💛

The Bible doesn’t present forgiveness as a wish, a hope, or a spiritual “maybe.”

In Christ, forgiveness is secured.Jesus didn’t make it possible — He finished it ✝️

That truth is what separates the gospel from every other religious system.

Scripture presents forgiveness as settled and complete,

while Islam requires continual requests for forgiveness —even modeled by Muhammad himself 🕊️

One offers assurance through a completed work;

the other offers effort without certainty.

Scripture tells a different story.

Through the cross, sin was dealt with once and for all.

We don’t confess to earn grace —we confess because we already stand forgiven 🙌

So here’s the question to start the year 🤔💡

Are you living like forgiveness is something you still need to chase…or something Christ already secured?

Grace is not uncertain.

Forgiveness is not fragile.

And the cross was enough ❤️
